What is Rolfing?
Rolfing Structural Integration is a hands-on manipulation and movement re-education system which was developed by American biochemist Dr Ida P Rolf in the 1950’s.
Over ten carefully structured sessions, Rolfing unwinds layers of tissue strain, which may have built up over years due to injury, habitual movement patterns or emotional holding. Undergoing the Full Rolfing series is like giving your body a 100,000-mile service and will improve posture, balance and muscle coordination for more energy and greater freedom of movement.
Shorter programmes of Rolfing can also provide long lasting relief from most joint and muscle pain including; Back and neck pain, RSI, Tennis elbow, Shin splints, Plantar fasciitis and Migraine. With an 86% satisfaction score, Rolfing can often bring ease even where other methods have failed.
